Very Quiet Ceiling Fan
This is my first Hunter brand ceiling fan. I believe this is the quietest ceiling fan that I have ever owned. I am very happy with it. Hunter ceiling fans are the only ceiling fans that I will purchase from now on.
I have some experience installing ceiling fans. So installation of this fan was no problem for me. A novice might need to study the installation manual a few times before attempting the install. For some reason, Hunter assumes that you will install this ceiling fan directly into the wood beams in your ceiling. It only comes with wood screws. If you install this ceiling fan into a ceiling fan outlet box, you will need to purchase machine screws and washers separately.
Overall, I recommend this ceiling fan.
Hunter 23860 42-Inch Blade Ceiling Fan
Pleased with this product. Quiet operation, nice looking, no vibration..even at high speed setting. One note: our ceilings in our house are just about 9 feet. We did wonder if we would feel the full effect of the air flow but no problem at all (even with it mounted flush to ceiling). Additionally, we hope the fan will move expensive warm air down in winter months! Would definitely buy another one if needed.

I installed my fan myself and am very pleased with it. The fan operates silently without vibration.
The motor cover does not go flush to the ceiling but I figure that is to prevent noise transmission. That even was not noticeable after the install was complete.

Mowing larger areas is a cinch with this self-propelled mower-no pushing for you! This model also features exceptionally large rear wheels. At 12 inches, these make this model extremely maneuverable in tight spots. Like most mowers, this one includes an engagement lever that stops the engine and blade when it's released. This is somewhat less convenient than models that include a blade brake that lets you keep the motor running, but you have to shell out a little more to get this feature.
The mower includes a recoil starter (these start much easier than their stubborn predecessors did-it usually takes one or two pulls to get the engine going) and a choke lever. According to the manual, you may not need to use the choke if the engine is warm or the air temperature is high. The starter handle is mounted halfway up the handle, but you need to bend down to operate the choke lever, which is mounted on the engine.
The 12B-569Q755 features a 3-in-1 deck. This means you can mulch, side-discharge, or collect your clippings in a rear-mount grass catcher. You can also adjust the cutting height via adjustment levers mounted on the wheels.
This is a good, powerful mower that would be well-suited for most yards. Two-year warranty. The premium Honda engine conforms to EPA and CARB regulations. For safety, don't mow on inclines of more than 15 degrees, and always mow across a slope, not up it.--Josh Dettweiler

Great mower for the PRICE!!
I purchased this mower for my Mother-in-Law's yard. I personally own a commercial Lawn Boy mower and the Yard Man is more manuverable than the Lawn Boy and has comparable power. The only drawback is that it is geared a little fast for a standard walking pace, but you can overcome this by slightly raising the front wheels while mowing by putting slight downward pressure on the handle bars and lettting the front wheels slip. Overall it is a good mower and easy to start, starts on first pull. Routine maintenance and keeping the blade sharp should result in several years of yard service.The Honda engine seems to be easy on gas consumption also.
Great Mower
I had a little trouble completing the setup on this machine. The instructions are too vague. But now that it is complete, It works well. I it is perfect for thos of us that have a bigger than average back yard.
ONLY FOR SMALL YARDS
This machine is not powerful. It lacks torque. The self propel belt is flimsy. Mine broke out of the box after two cutting two rows. This machine cannot cut through long grass without slogging down. It is very slow when the self propel is engaged. The screw knobs on the handle piping vibrate loose. This is fine for small yard or occasional mowing. For large yards and weekly mowing this is a failure.

Great Lawnmower
This a great lawnmower. It does a good job mulching and cutting even in high grass. The key start is very easy to use. The wheels are easy to adjust - would like to have one device that adjusts all 4 wheels at same time, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, great buy!
Good mower - rear wheels need some work

The mower works, battery charged right up, and it starts and cuts as it should - it comes fully assembled. One rear wheel isn't staying tightened, so it loses its horizontal cutting plane in time. When I figure out how to make that tighten permanently, I'll happy in full with the mechanics.
The manual is crap -- and that's a pity. They spend all that money designing a nice piece of equipment, and Poulan decided it's ok to put out one manual (fits all) for a bunch of different models -- this mower has features with no instructions as to their use. I'm sure it'll work well for years, but that sort of cheeziness means I'll not repeat with them or for other tools they offer. Hence the stars.

Great Electric mower at great price
I got this lawn mower for an average size yard and I was really surprised at how easily it handled. It did not make a lot of noise like some of the gas mowers and was easy to push around the yard. The only problem I had and it actually might have been the orange extension cord I was using but it kept coming out of the outlet for the mower. I would definately recommend.
Bad Parts and Customer Service
I purchased the 60120 model in May. Last week both back wheel broke and the mower is inoperable. The back wheels sit on a plastic casing that is a whopping 1/8" thick, bearing the weight of the mower. After checking my "two year warranty" I called Earthwise to request replacement parts. After waiting for 25 minutes on hold, I was told that I was not a sufficient judge to determine that this was a defective part and that I would have to take it to the nearest service dealer, which happens to be 30 miles away. When I asked to speak with the supervisor I was told that there were "lots of people ahead of me" and I would be better off calling the service dealer. Or my other option is now to purchase the replacement parts(from them) for this unit. After spending $330 on this thing just five months ago, I'm pretty resentful. I mainly bought this unit based on the reviews here, so I thought I should let people know.
Great mower for small-mid size lawn
I just moved into a place with a lawn for the first time in my life. After a few weeks of unpacking I decided to tackle the lawn, thinking it would take forever with the overgrown grass. I was wrong. This little mower took it all down. It's really quiet and easy to use.

Great Mower - Has started every time on first pull!
Great little mower. I have been very pleased with it so far, and it has always started on the first pull for me!
Probably the only thing i would change is the handel joint connection. I have to fit it in a small shed and need to fold the handel down every time, and it takes a couple minutes to work the bolts/connectors to the point where i can fold it down.

I had shopped reviews online for a number of different push mowers before deciding to go with the Lawn-Boy. We had recently bought a new house with a small back and side yard to maintain. This mower has been great so far(have only used it twice...long term durability remains to be seen).
It is easy to operate and maintain, and starts on the first pull every time.

Solid lawnmower
I purchased this lawnmower after a reasonable amount of review reading and research online. We have newly laid sod that had been growing for about a month or so, watering nearly every day. The last mower I used would have needed to cut about three times (granted, it was getting old and we didn't sharpen the blades) to get through the thick grass we have. This cut right through everything. The only minor downside is the needing to overlap enough on the next pass to pick up the grass that was flattened by the wheels on the first pass.
Great mower, and I'd recommend it to anyone!
